This route offers a great and special attractive because it passes by the ancient railway called "el carrilet" which used to join the two towns up to the middle ages, and now is recovered for pedestrians and bikers only. The first day the route goes from Olot to the monumental city of Girona. The second day, you will reach the sea, in the fishing town of Sant Feliu de Guíxols.

This route takes you from the city of Olot to Girona following the river Brugent valley through the old train line called "carrilet". The lanscape is really lovely. Its natural situation offers an extensive and rich variety of landscapes from lofty mountains and rolling hills to beautiful aak and bech forest, not to mention the outstanding scenery of its volcanic area. Today you move from the most central part of the region almost to the coast through the old train line "carrilet". It means 40 km through a railway conditioned for pedestrians and bikers only. You will reach Sant Feliu, with its wonderful seaport and of great cultural and historical interest, with an old monastery.
Departure after finishing the loop ride of the day.
